Updates!!!!

We beat Monett 4-3 last week. Cameron Terry pitched 8 innings to get the win. Reese Veith drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 8th with a suicide squeeze. We lost to Diamond 16-6 on last Thursday. We beat College Heights 3-0 on Monday of this week. Cameron Terry pitched 7 innings, giving up 1 hit and striking out 12 for the win. Jared Smith had a double and run scored. We are now 2-3 on the year. We play tonight at home vs Galena at 5PM. The weather is nice, sunny and warm. Come out and see some baseball this afternoon.

Cassville Tournament!!!

We lost 6-4 to Seneca and 14-13 to Cassville this week in the Cassville Tournament!!!! Cameron Terry had 2 hits against Seneca with 2RBI's and 2 SB's. Cameron added 3 hits against Cassville also. Keevin Walker had 2 hits against Cassville. We play Monday at home vs Seneca for the opening game of the Monett Tournament. 5:00PM start time. There will be a JV game following the Varsity game. We are helping host the tournament due to Easter Weekend changing the dates of the tournament.

UP AND RUNNING!!!!

I may have fixed a few bugs on the blog. Hope it is up and running again. We have started our spring season already. We start games next week and play Monday at Cassville with our JV playing there Freshmen. Thursday will kick off the Varsity season at the Cassville Tournament. Stay tuned for updates.

Loss to Forsyth

We lost last night 15-2 vs Forsyth. After the first inning, we continued to play even baseball with a pretty good team. We will be playing for 3rd place vs Wheaton at 3PM in Crane. Come out and see us play them on Saturday.

2-0 win over Crane

We beat Crane last night 2-0 in the first round of the Crane Wood Bat Tournament. Alex Mareth and Austin Hancock had the RBI's and Mareth moves to 3-0 on the year with a 7 inning shut out. We play Forsyth today at 4:30 at Crane. Winner moves on to the championship game and loser plays for 3rd. See you there.

Loss Moves Us To 3-2!!

We lost to Wheaton last night 6-1. Keevin Walker and Alex Mareth had our only hits on the night. Austin Hancock pitched well enough to win, but errors in the field and lack of hitting is a recipe of a loss. We play next Wed at 4:30pm at Crane in the Crane wood bat tournament vs Crane. Beat MCE

We beat MCE Tuesday night 3-0 behind Alex Mareth's CG shut out and 13 ks. Gannon Clevenger came up with a big RBI single followed by Keevin Walkers RBI double and Mareth's RBI single. We play Wheaton tonight at 5pm at Wheaton. See you there.

1st loss of the fall!!!

We came up short against Galena 12-5 last night. I liked the fight and drive the boys had. We didn't quit and had the bases loaded twice in the last 3 innings. Just need that one or two big hit. We play Marion C. Early(Morrisville) tonight here at 5 PM. Come on out and support the boys.

10-4 win over Exetere

We beat Exeter on Friday 10-4 behind another excellent pitching performance. Austin Hancock had 12 ks in 7 innings while allowing 6 hits and 2 earned runs(4 total runs). He also only walked 1. Isaac Brattin had a great day at the plate going 1-2, with a sac bunt and a walk. We play Galena tonight at home for our first home game of the season. 5PM start, see you there.

Season Opener is a Win!!!!

We beat Hurley last night 5-1 behind Alex Mareths complete game win. Alex struck out 11, walked 1, allowed 5 hits and 1 earned run. Austin Hancock and Martin Sanchez had 2 hits apiece. We played great defense and scored 5 runs on 6 hits. We play tonight at Exeter at 5PM. See you there.

JV lost 8-6 in 5 innings of play last night. Offense and pitching was good enough to win, our defense struggled but we were able to see what we need to work on and hopefully learned from our mistakes.
