From Patty and Robert

I received a thank you card from Robert and Patty. We went out on Friday morning and helped them cut wood. I want to thank all the boys that made it out and a special thanks to Jerry Davis, Dale Gage, Ed Mareth, David Mareth, and Chelsea Mareth for the extra chainsaws and man power. Here is what the card said.

Baseball Players

I know some of you know this, but if not pass the word around. On October 30th, a Friday, we are out of school. We are going to help Robert Balmas cut wood. We are meeting at 9am at his house. If you don't know where he lives, ask around or you can meet at 8:45 at the school. Thank you for your help.

Alumni Game A Huge Success

We had the alumni game yesterday. The Alumni came out on top with a 3-2 win. MVP for the Alumni was Tyler Faulk. He made a diving catch over his shoulder at shortstop and Doubled off the Left Center field wall. We had 20 alumni that showed up to take part in the game. We also want to thank all the parents that provided chili after the game. We will plan this game again next year with more details coming later. Thanks again to all that made this day great.

Forsyth beats us to end the Fall Season

We lost last night 16-5 in 5 innings. Errors, Walks, Hit batters, and key hits by Forsyth resulted in our first run rule of the season. Riley Veith had 2 hits, Reese Stevenson had a 2 run homer. Riley gets the loss. I will have fall stats posted later. Don't forget our Alumni Game on Saturday at 12:00. Batting practice for the Alumni at 11am.

6-4 loss to Southwest in the Purdy Fall Classic Championship

Southwest won the Purdy Fall Classic by beating us 6-4 on Saturday. Kevin Miller took the loss giving up 11 hits and striking out 7 to only 3 walks. Drew Williams was 3-4 with a RBI and Riley Veith was 2-4 with a RBI. We finish up our fall schedule this week. We play Forsyth Monday at 5 here and then finish with our Alumni game on Saturday. Come out and support the boys one last time this week.
