Well, It didn't end the way we wanted it to. However, it was a good year. Not very many teams had the oppurtunity that we had. I am already looking forward to next fall, so we can begin building for another run to state. See you all Friday night at 7:00 at the church.

Sectional Champs!!!!!!!!
Purdy 6- Forsyth 4. What a game. We fell behind early and had to overcome a late surge by Forsyth, but held on to move on to the quarterfinal game. Corey Moller pitched 6 1/3 innings and Mason Roller came in to close the door. Corey pitched very well. Offensively we struggled at first. After the first three innings were over, we were due for a good inning. We had hit the ball hard and finally broke open for four runs and then added two more to secure the win. We play Houston at 5:00pm on Friday May 25th here at Purdy. Hope to see you all there.

10-0, not in our favor
We went to Hollister to play a ranked team. We left seeing why. However, I do not think that we played our best. The highlights were that three Juniors, Ryan Veith, Derek Dailey and Trenton Dailey were combined 3-4 with 2 walks and 2 hit by pitches. As of right now, we are still playing Pierce City at 4:30, but we are going to play them at Diamond. They play each other at 1:00 to make up the game they were rained out.

A Rainy Day in May!
If the rain didn't get you down, then the 13 men left on base including bases loaded three times did. We lost to Marionville 5-4 in a rainy game last night.
Mason Roller pitched 5 innings and Corey Moller came in and shut them down to give us the chance in the last two innings. Mason, Corey and Trent Goetz each had two hits a piece. We just didn't captilize on their mistakes and didn't get timely hitting with runners on base. A few small mistakes by the boys and coach makes a coach stay up all night running the game back through his head. The game was well played by both teams for the most part and everybody learned from it. We play Cassville on Thursday. Do the anti-rain dance to keep it away.

BACK TO BACK CONFERENCE CHAMPS!!!!!
I am sorry about the delay on the posting. I was gone on Monday. However, we beat Exeter 10-0 and with that win we are 5-0 in conference and repeat as Conference Champions. Corey Moller pitched a complete game (5 inn, 7 ks, and 2 hits,) and is starting to look like the old Corey from last year. If you did not know he has been battling some earlier arm injury and has been 2-0 since coming back. Spencer Terry contributed with three hits and Mason Roller, Chris Bennett, Ryan Veith, and Trenton Dailey each had two hits apiece. See you tonight, Tuesday, here against Marionville.
