Double Header Win

We beat Wheaton on Friday in a double header 5-1 and 11-0. The first game was a battle to the end. Mason Roller hit a solo homer in the 3rd and drove in 3 in the sixth. Daniel Barrietos picked up the win and Derek Fulp got the save. In the second game we came out a little better and scored early and often to get a good lead. Trent Goetz had a bases loaded triple and Roller hit a two run homer in the 5th. Daniel Burnside picked up the win in the second game. We play Southwest tonight at home at 5 and Blue Eye on Thursday there at 5.

Congratulations

Just wanted to congratulate the Purdy Lady Eagles on their win last night and claiming the Conference Championship. Good job ladies.

6-3 Win over Crane.

A good game ended with a good outcome. After going up on Crane 3-0, they came back with a 3 run homer to tie the game. However, Landon Terry got his 3rd RBI single of the day to give us the lead in the seventh and we scored two more for a 6-3 win. Mason Roller (5-0) picked up the win pitching 6 innings and only allowing 1 earned run. Trent Goetz picked up the save in the seventh with a three up, three strikeouts to hold Crane off. Chris Bennett and Terry were bothe 3-4, Goetz had two doubles also. We play Wheaton Friday here in a Varsity double header.

10-5 win over Billings.

We beat Billings last night 10-5. Kevin Miller picked up the win (1-1) pitching 4.1 innings and giving up 5 runs 3ER. Derek Fulp picked up a save in working 2.2 scoreless and hitless innings. Mason Roller added a 3 run homer and Trent Goetz had 2 doubles and 4 runs scored. We travel to Crane tonight. Hope to see you there.

3 wins to end the week and capture the title at the Exeter Tournament!

We beat Wheaton and Exeter on Friday and turned around and beat Hurley on Saturday to imporve our record to 7-1. We beat Wheaton 13-0. Daniel Barrientos threw a no hitter and only walked one. He had two strikeouts. He was also 2-2 with 2 RBI's. Cody Hall and Reese Stevenson also had 2 hits. Kevin Miller was 3-3 with 5 RBI's. We beat Exeter 10-0. Riley Veith pitched a complete game allowing 3 hits and stiking out 7. Veith and Mason Roller had 2 hits a piece and Miller was 3-4 with 3 RBI's. In the tournament finale, we beat Hurley 9-8. Landon Terry and Daniel Burnside pitched 4.2 and .1 innings to keep the game close enough for us to get a chance in the 6th and 7th. We were down by 1 in the 6th and had 2 hits and a walk with 2 outs to tie the game. Mason Roller pitched the 6th and 7th to give us a chance in the 7th. Cody Hall lead off with a single and after a stikeout, Reese Stevenson singled to move Hall to 3rd. Then Riley Veith singled Hall in for the game winner. Stevenson and Chris Bennett was both 3-4. Trent Goetz, Roller, and Barrientos all had 2 hits. We play Billings tonight there. Hope to see you out there supporting these boys.

11-5 win over Southwest

We beat Southwest last night 11-5. Mason Roller and Trent Goetz each had two hits and we got to see several players contribute on both offense and defense. Roller and Kevin Miller each had 3 RBI's and Goetz scored 3 runs. Roller picked up the win and moves to 3-0 on the year. We play today at Exeter at 4 and 8 and then on Saturday at Exeter at 2:30.

Tough loss at Spokane

Spokane beat us last night 5-4 at their place. Kevin Miller pitched 5.1 innings and got the loss. Mason Roller pitched .2 scoreless innings. He also had a solo homerun in the 4th inning. Daniel Barrientos had two hits and scored once. We collected 4 hits on the night and could not come through with the big hit when we needed it. We will play in the Exeter tournament this weekend. We will host Southwest at 5:00 on Thursday and then play at 4:00 and 8:00 on Friday vs. Wheaton and Exeter. We then will play Hurley on Saturday at 2:00. Hope to see you all out there.

The Wheaton game that was going to be today has now been moved to a double header varsity game the day that we play them here. 9/26.

8-3 win over Crane

We beat Crane last night 8-3. Mason Roller contributed on both sides of the game. He pitched a complete game allowing 4 hits, 2BB's, 2 ER's and Stiking out 7. He also was 2-3 with a homerun and 3 RBI's. Cody Hall was 2-3 with 2 RBI's. Riley Veith and Landon Terry also had two hits. We travel to Blue Eye on Thursday.

8-6 win over Galena on Friday.

Sorry about the late entry. We beat Galena on Friday 8-6. We scored 7 runs in the 2nd and had to hang on late to grab the win. Trent Goetz had two hits along with picking up the save in the seventh. Derek Fulp pitched 2 1/3 innings in relief for Riley Veith who started. Riley gave up 5 runs and Derek gave up one. We are suppose to play Wheaton today there. I will post something as soon as I hear.
