Alumni Game Update
We have had 15 alumni confirm they will be there on October 10th. Still room for more, so pass the word around. Also, some of the parents of the team are planning on doing some type of meal after the game for the alumni. Remember, you can order a t-shirt for $15 even if you don't want to play.
Heartbreaker!!
Last night was a tough loss, but a good game to build on. We lost in 8 innings 8-7. We scored late and often to overcome a 7-1 deficient. Riley Veith had a big game at the plate, both hitting and catching. He was 4-5 with 3 runs scored, 1 2B and 2 stolen bases. The big story was how well he played behind the dish. He saved numerous base runners from moving up on wild pitches due to his blocking display. Drew Williams and Kevin Miller each had 2 hits apiece. Kevin Miller picks up the tough luck loss in relief but pitched a solid 3 innings to keep it close when we were down. We don't play until Friday at 4 here in the Purdy Fall Classic. Don't forget to let me know if you are planning on playing in the Alumni game. I need to know ASAP.

Not A Pretty Weekend Down In Crane.
We lost 9-5 on Friday vs Blue Eye. We beat Hurley 7-3 on Saturday morning and then turned around and lost 7-2 vs Wheaton. We had some quality pitching all weekend, but made 15 errors in 3 games. We struggled to get the key hit in our two losses and then had a couple of errors that really hurt us. We will try to straighten the ways tonight at 5pm here vs Spokane.
