Win Moves Us to 3-0!

With a 16-6 win in 6 innings we moved to 3-0 on the young season. We scored 1st and after a shaky 3 inning defensively, we was down 6-5. Then our bats came a live and Kevin Miller shut down there offense the rest of the way. Kevin had a big day at the plate going 3-3 with 2 2b and 2 RBI's, while pitching 6 innings and striking out 7 and only 1 walk. Cameron Terry was 3-4 and Cody Hall had 2 doubles. We play tonight here vs Golden City at 5. This game was not on the original schedule, so make sure we pass the word around. Great crowd last night.

Come From Behind Win!

We beat Exeter Friday night 7-5 after being down 4-0 early. We slowly chipped away with some 2 out RBIs from Kevin Miller, Martin Sanchez, and Reese Stevenson. We then scored 2 runs in the top of the 7th on Exeter miscues and timely placing the baseball at the right spot. Stevenson pitches 4 innings and strikes out 9. Landon Terry gets the win in two innings of relief pitching and Kevin Miller notches the save with a perfect 7th inning. We play tonight at home vs Galena, MO at 5.

At Exeter Tonight!

We play Exeter in an early season match up of conference opponents. This will start letting us know where we are for the spring conference season. Reese Stevenson will get the pitching duties tonight. Come out and support us. Also, I have some of the decals in(the ones ordered last week). I have handed them out to the boys, so get them on your cars and show your support. If you ordered any this week, they will be done ASAP. Thanks.

Big Win To Start The Fall!

We put up 15 hits and 20 runs on our way to a 20-0 5 inning win vs Hurley last night. Riley Veith pitched 4 innings to get the win, allowing one infield single and striking out 10. Reese Stevenson and Devon Bennett each were 3-3 with 3 RBI's. Cody Hall drove in 4 runs. All 9 starters had a hit. We won the JV game 7-6 in 5 innings. We play Friday at 5 at Exeter. We also added a game for next Tuesday here at 5 vs Golden City.

We open our Fall Season today at Hurley at 4:30. Riley Veith gets the nod to start on the mound for us. Come out and support the boys at Hurley.

Long Time!

Sorry it has been a while since I posted anything. Just really busy with the new school year and finishing up my summer. We started practice last week and have 20 young men out for the baseball team. This year has already took on a lot of promise with what we have returning. Come out and see us play some baseball sometime. I will post a schedule pretty soon.
