We beat Exeter last night 21-0 in 5 innings. Devon Bennett picked up the win. Britten Hardwick got us on the board with a 2 RBI single in the 2nd inning and then we rolled after that. A lot of big at bats by some younger guys that got a chance to get some needed varsity time. Willy Click had 2 hits in 2 at bats. We play at Clever tonight at 5pm. See you there.

4-3 Win At Wheaton On Friday
We beat Wheaton 4-3 on Friday behind the left arm of Cameron Terry and 2 2-out hits. Cody Hall connected for a 3 run homer with 2 outs and Keevin Walker drove in the 4th run with a 2 out RBI single. Cameron pitched all 7 innings and struck out 10 on his way to his 4th in of the fall. We play at Exeter Thursday at 5pm.
JV won 5-4 in an exciting 5 inning game, this being the 3rd game in a row for a JV win in our last few at bats.

No Game Today
Game today at Crane has been cancelled due to the rain. Working on a makeup date for October 6th, but that has not been confirmed or approved. See you guys at Wheaton at 5pm tomorrow night.

Alumni Game!!!!
We will be doing our 3rd annual alumni game on October 8th at 1pm. To be considered alumni, you have to of graduated from Purdy and played High School Baseball. We will be playing two 5 inning games. Purdy's Varsity will play the 1st game and the JV will play the 2nd game. The alumni may play however they want. Alumni need to pay $20 to play and this will get them a t-shirt and food afterwards. We will be doing a supper after the games in the cafeteria that all others may stay and enjoy for the price of $5. This is one of our main fundraisers and one of the days I look forward too throughout the year. Please plan to attend even if you don't want to play. Tyler Faulk is back to back MVP!!!! He will be making a run at 3 in a row. Please let me know your shirt size and if you plan to play by October 1st. You can email, call or text me at anytime. Thanks for your support of Purdy High School Baseball!!!!!
Big Win Over Blue Eye!!!
We beat Blue Eye 11-1 last night behind Reese Stevenson's 12 strikeout performance and his 3 RBI triple. We also got big hits from Cody Hall and Keevin Walker, as they both had 2 hits a piece. We scored early and often to get us a 8-0 lead and scored 3 in the 5th after they scored 1 in the 4th to end it in 5 innings. We play Thursday at 5pm at Crane. See you there.

Coach B Wins Varsity and JV Game!!!!
We beat Billings 5-1 last night under the guidance of Coach B. Cameron Terry pitched 7 innings, striking out 8, walking 1, allowing 6 hits and 1 earned run. He was supported by Devon Bennett's 2 RBI double in the 1st and Tyler Scott's 2 out triple in the 3rd. Reese Stevenson and Scott had 2 hits a piece. Austin Hancock added the other RBI. We also came from behind and beat there JV on a walk off hit by Alex Mareth. He also picked up the win. We play Blue Eye tonight at 5pm at home.

1-1 And Rain In The Purdy Fall Classic
We beat Hurley on Thursday night 13-5, Devon Bennett picked up the win backed by Cody Hall's 3-4 night, 2 2B's and 1 3B. We lost to Wheaton 7-0 on Friday and Alex Mareth had our lone hit on the night. Saturday's games got rained out from the much needed rain, I just wish it would waited to rain after 3pm on Saturday. We have no make up date yet on these games. As soon as I do, I will pass it on. We play Billings tonight at home if the field will dry. See you at 5pm.

16-1 win over Golden City
Cameron Terry picked up the win last night and Austin Hancock had 2 hits. Cody Hall added 3 RBI's to support Cameron early on in the game. We scored 9 runs in the 2nd inning and gave me the opportunity to get some good experience at the varsity level for some of the younger guys. I believe there was 3 varsity debuts last night. We play Spokane tonight at 5pm at Crane to finish the Crane Wood Bat tournament.

Come From Behind Win!!!
Jumping on back to back pitches and a 4-4 night puts our middle of the order right in the middle of the win last night. Reese Stevenson and Cody Hall hit back to back homeruns in the 3rd inning but to not be outdone, Cameron Terry goes 4-4, with a walk off single in the 7th. Stevenson picks up his 4th win in as many chances and had 14 ks and 1 BB. He allowed 5 runs, but only 3 earned. We play at Golden City today at 5pm. See you there.

Suffered Our 1st Loss Thursday!
Wheaton beat us 11-1 in 5 innings in the Semi Finals of the Crane tournament. We will play 6 games this week. Mon at home vs Spokane, Tues at Golden City, Wed vs Spokane at Crane for 3rd place in the Crane tournament, and a game Thur, Fri, and Sat in the Purdy Fall Classic. Win in Crane Wood Bat Opener!!!!
We beat Billings last night 4-1 in the opening round of the Crane Wood Bat Tournament. Reese Stevenson gets the win, pitching 7 innings with 3 hits, 3BB, and 13 K's. Devon Bennett and Alex Mareth had RBI singles and we scored another run on an error and a 1st and 3rd situation. We play tonight vs Wheaton at 4pm at Billings. Hope to see you there.

4-3 Over Our Neighbor To The West!!!
We beat Wheaton last night 4-3 behind an excellent performances from Jr. Lefthander, Cameron Terry. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 6 hits, 2 BB's, and had 7 K's. For the first 4 innings he picked up his defense after some big mistakes or errors. He bent a little in the 5th after an error, but did not break. After giving up 2 runs he stopped the rally and kept us in the game. The rest, as they say, is history. Our offense came up in the 6th down 2-1 and scratched out 3 runs on 3 hits and a BB. Reese Stevenson tied the game up with a RBI single and Devon Bennett drove in the go ahead run with 2 outs. We then scored on a balk to make it 4-2. Stevenson allowed 1 unearned run in the 7th, but got the save. Stevenson, Bennett and Hall each had 1 RBI. Bennett finished the night 2-3
To top off the first 2 weeks of the fall season, we move to 4-0 in Varsity play
Our JV is also 4-0 and playing really well. We are getting some big time pitching and hitting out of the younger guys and they are pushing for Varsity playing time.
