3-0 this weekend at the Exeter Tournament!!!
We Beat Wheaton 20-4, Exeter 11-0, and Hurley 13-0. All three games were five inning contests. After a slow start on Friday against Wheaton, we came and scored 8 runs in the second inning. Riley Veith picked up his 3rd win on the year and Derek Dailey went 2-4 with 2 RBI's. Chris Bennett, Kevin Miller and Landon Terry each had two hits. In the late game on Friday we waited until the fourth inning to score a lot of runs. With us leading 3-0, we put up 8 runs in the fourth. Derek Dailey dropped his team leading ERA down to .70 and allowed 1 hit and recorded 7 K's on his way to secure his second victory. Mason Roller was 4-4 with 3 RBI's and Trent Goetz went 2-4 with 2 RBI's. On Saturday, we faced Hurley. Hurley gave us our only loss the first game of the year. We came out and put 9 runs in the first two innings and didn't look back. Mason Roller got his first start of the season on the mound and pitched a gem. Trying to out do his battery mate, Dailey, from the night before, Roller allowed one hit and had 6 K's on his way to his second win of the year. Mason also was 1-2 with a solo homerun in the first inning. Ryan Veith was 2-3 with 5 RBI's. Riley Veith was 0-0, but scored twice and was hit by a pitch three times. We host Billings tonight. Hope to see you there.

Nice job guys. The entire line up is producing at the plate and playing solid defense. It makes the games very enjoyable to watch.
I am looking forward to tonight.
Great way to spend the weekend. I think spring is going to be just as good. You have big shoes to follow but you are well in your way. Keep up the hard work, it's paying off. Go Eagles
