3-0 this weekend at the Exeter Tournament!!!

We Beat Wheaton 20-4, Exeter 11-0, and Hurley 13-0. All three games were five inning contests. After a slow start on Friday against Wheaton, we came and scored 8 runs in the second inning. Riley Veith picked up his 3rd win on the year and Derek Dailey went 2-4 with 2 RBI's. Chris Bennett, Kevin Miller and Landon Terry each had two hits. In the late game on Friday we waited until the fourth inning to score a lot of runs. With us leading 3-0, we put up 8 runs in the fourth. Derek Dailey dropped his team leading ERA down to .70 and allowed 1 hit and recorded 7 K's on his way to secure his second victory. Mason Roller was 4-4 with 3 RBI's and Trent Goetz went 2-4 with 2 RBI's. On Saturday, we faced Hurley. Hurley gave us our only loss the first game of the year. We came out and put 9 runs in the first two innings and didn't look back. Mason Roller got his first start of the season on the mound and pitched a gem. Trying to out do his battery mate, Dailey, from the night before, Roller allowed one hit and had 6 K's on his way to his second win of the year. Mason also was 1-2 with a solo homerun in the first inning. Ryan Veith was 2-3 with 5 RBI's. Riley Veith was 0-0, but scored twice and was hit by a pitch three times. We host Billings tonight.
