Congratulations

I just wanted to let everyone know that a couple of seniors have had some good news over the past few days. Josh Wiseman sign a letter of intent to play with Central Cristian College in McPherson KS. He will be going as a pitcher and every day player. The best of luck to him and his future college career. Ryan Veith was selected to represent us in the Senior All-Star game coming up next weekend. Ryan has not yet made a decision on a college, but plans on making one soon. Congratulations to you both.

17-8 ends another great year!!!!

We got beat last night in the sectional game by Blue Eye. We lost 19-6 to a good hitting Blue Eye team. Mason Roller and Ryan Veith each had 2 hits and Ryan had 3 RBI's. I hope everyone has a great summer and gets a chance to play a little baseball.

District Champs Again!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to the boys on winning a second district title. However, we can't get to excited, because we have Blue Eye coming here on Monday at 5:00pm for the sectional game. We beat McAuley last night 10-2 in the district championship game. Derek Dailey picked up the win. Derek Fulp had 2 hits and 2 RBI's. Daniel Barrientos drove in 3 runs with a 2 RBI single and one RBI with a bunt. Trent Goetz, Mason Roller, Dailey, Ryan Veith, and Landon Terry each had a hit. Hope to see you all Monday.

6-4 win to move us to the district championship game

We beat Lamar last night 6-4. With the win we move on to face McAuley in the district championship game. Mason Roller pitched 4.1 innings to pick up the win and Derek Dailey came in to get an 8 out save. Ryan Veith was 1-4 with 2 RBI's. Mason, Josh Wiseman, and Chris Bennett each had a hit and a RBI. Daniel Barrientos and Derek Fulp each had an infield single. We scored 6 runs in the 3rd and held them in check. We play tonight for the district championship at Sarcoxie at 5:00pm

The game tonight has been cancelled due to bad weather. We will play tomorrow at 1:00 pm at Sarcoxie.

Opening win in districts

We beat Southwest in the first round of districts last night at Sarcoxie 9-1. Josh Wiseman (7-1) pitched a complete game giving up 4 hits, 1 ER, 5 BB, while striking out 9. Mason Roller, Ryan Veith, and Wiseman each had 2 hits. Roller had 2 RBI's. Veith, Wiseman, Derek Dailey and Chris Bennet each had an RBI. Derek Fulp hit a two run homer in the 4th. We play Lamar tonight at 6:00 at Sarcoxie. See you there.

No game tonight

Game has been cancelled. No chance to make it up this late in the year. Clever starts districts Saturday and have there banquet tomorrow. We will play at 6:00 on Monday at Sarcoxie vs. Southwest.

9-6 win over Galena

We beat Galena 9-6 last night at Galena. It was tied 6-6 when we brought in Daniel Burnside to relieve Riley Veith in the 5th. There was one out and Galena had the bases loaded. Burnside got a strikeout and a flyball to end the threat and pitched a perfect 6th inning to pick up the win. Derek Dailey pitched the seventh for the save. In the seventh, Josh Wiseman lead off with a double and Mason Roller hit a two run homerun over the right center field fence. We then scored an insurace run on an error. Dailey ended the day 3-4 and Wiseman was 2-4. Roller, Ryan Veith, and Chris Bennett each had 2 RBI's. See you Thursday for Senior Night.

What a day!!!!

Words can not explain the way yesterday worked. However, if you were the few that was not there, you might of missed one of the greatest games in Purdy Baseball. We started the game off hot with 3 runs in the first inning. Pierce City came back with 3 of their own in the bottom of the first. Then we battled back in forth for a 8-5 lead by Pierce City after the 5th inning. They scored 3 more in the sixth and we started the seventh down 11-5. Mason Roller and Derek Dailey walked to lead of the seventh and Ryan Veith followed with a single. After an out. Chris Bennet singled to drive in 2 and Derek Fulp drove in 2 with a triple. After another out, Trent Goetz and Daniel Barrientos walked to load the bases. Mason Delivered a 3 RBI single to give us a 12-11 lead. They scored one in the bottom of the seventh tying it at 12. In the 8th we scored 4 runs and held them in check to come out on top, 16-12. We play a JV double header today at Pierce City and then back to Varsity play tomorrow at Galena. Tonight at 4:30 and tomorrow at 5:00.

Conference Champs Again!!!!

We beat Exeter 23-7 on Friday night to put us undefeated in the conference. We play Sunday at Hammonds field in Springfield. Hope to see you all there.

10-2 loss against Cassville

We lost 10-2 last night at Cassville. Riley Veith picked up the loss, but only allowed 3 earned runs in 4+ innings. Derek Fulp had two hits and drove in both of our runs. Ryan Veith, Mason Roller and Chris Bennett each had a single. We play Exeter today pending the weather. Hope to see all of you out there.

Big Conference Win!

We beat Southwest last night 17-3. That moved us to 3-0 in the conference with one game left against Exeter on Friday and 11-6 over all. Derek Dailey struck out 7, and walked 0 and allowed 7 hits and 3 runs in picking up the win. Mason Roller, Josh Wiseman, and Trent Goetz were 3-4. Mason and Josh each had 4 RBI's and a homerun. Chris Bennet was 2-3 with 3 RBI's. We play at Cassville today at 4:30. Hope to see you all out.
