Nothing Better Than A Win!!!!

We beat Wheaton last night 8-3 in the conference game. Down 3-1 in the bottom of the 6th, we put together a rally with one out, Landon Terry and Kevin Miller pulled off a double steal and then Riley Veith came through with a 2 RBI single to tie the game. After a single by Devon Bennett to move Riley to 2nd base, Daniel Burnside connected on a pitch to drive in Riley with a single to left. Then Cameron Terry came up and drove in 1 run with a single up the middle. After a pop out, Caleb Willey drove in two with a double of the wall. Then Reese Stevenson singled in Willey to make the score 8-3. Then Riley Veith shut the door in the 7th. He pitched 7 innings allowing 2 earned runs and stiking out 8 while only walking 3. This sets up an oppurtunity to win a share of conference. We play Exeter here Friday. If we win, we win a share of conference. See you there.
